Logitech are well known as one of the most popular and best accessory manufacturers in the world, yet few people know of their line of headphones – Ultimate Ears. Ultimate Ears have a massive range of headphones from ones aimed at consumers – such as the 200’s that we will be reviewing today. Their other, more serious products are custom crafted for each individual’s ear. Maybe someday we’ll have the honour of testing the $1,350 earphones! These ones are available more modest £17.99 from Amazon though!
Logitech say their products are “the choice of the world’s top touring musicians” and we, whilst not world class touring musicians, want to find out if the Ultimate Ear 200’s (UE200) will suit our needs! We’ll be testing them against similarly priced offerings such as the Sennheiser CX300II’s and seeing if they can hold their own against proper studio monitors like the Alesis M MkII’s.
