  • Enermax MaxRevo Series of Power Supplies Launched

Enermax, maker of high end computer Power Supples, has just launched its new series of high-end PSUs called the Max Revo. These two units come in two flavors, the 1350W and 1500W and exceeds the requirements of "SSI Power Supply Design Guide" for server and datacenter use, however it is primarily designed for high end workstations or high-end gaming machines that are running multiple graphics cards. Both models are equipped with six highly efficient 12V rails which will deliver more than enough power to any high end system. Cabeling for these units are modular so you don't need to hide those unused cables.

Another interesting feature that comes with each of Enermax's MaxRevo series is their new "Copper Bridge Array" transmission design. This replaces the typical wires that are standard on most power supplies on the market today. This design lets the voltage pass through the wires with lower resistance giving a slight increase in voltage regulation and provides even higher efficiency. Enermax has also revamped the Modu87+ and Pro87+ series which could reduce further energy losses by this way. As a result it comes up much better air circulation. Combined with the higher efficiency and the reliable Enermax Twister bearing fan it guarantees silent and reliable cooling.

Enermax's new FMQ-Design (Full-Zone Magnetic Quadrant Transformer Design) provides the usage of all four quadrants of the transformer (instead of until now only one) makes a peak efficiency of up to 94 percentage (80 PLUSŪ Gold) possible.

MaxRevo Series is now available at a authorized locations.

The 1500W version won't be available in the US last I heard. The 1350W version is pretty good, but it's really stretching out their 1200W or 1250W platform. An Antec HCP 1200 would probably perform at least as good at 1350W if you don't trip OPP, OCP and other protection features.

Awesome. Any update on the 1500w launching in the US? I will be building a new system around October - December so I will be in the market. I owned an Enermax Liberty for use with the PC I built before the one I am on, and that thing lasted a long time (still kicking in my backup rig).
