  • Apacer Previews ARES DDR3-2133 MHz RAM Kit

    Apacer announced a new addition of its ARES overclocking memory series coupled with high capacity and head turning clock rates. These specific memory modules are designed to run at 2133MHz (DDR3-2133 8GB (4GBx2)) which is setup as a dual channel memory kit. The ARES series are designed for maximum compatibility with the latest Intel P67 and Z68 Sandy Bridge platforms. The ARES series are targeted towards overclockers, gamers and PC enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their systems.

    The ARES Series of memory modules is designed for the Intel P67 and Z68 Sandy Bridge platforms and is 100% backwards compatible with older the P55 platform. Specs for these units runs at CL9-11-9-27 at 1.65V, powered by advanced process 256Mb x 8chips, which are screened and tested with the advanced test fixture and programs under diversified parameters of voltage and time sequences.

    Cooling for the ARES DDR3 kit includes a heat spreader with an affixed copper heat pipe which is attached to an additional heat-sink providing superior cooling. This efficient cooling design helps deliver great cooling for overclocking scenarios. However CPU HSF compatibility may be an issue for some.
