The CM Storm Sirus doesn’t not limit you on anything. If you wish to connect it to your own sound card you can. If are only using your onboard you have the option to pair it up the included Mixing console for better sound. There are more option included in the software then most sound card software. Not to mention the competitors.
Some of the cons we found with the headset due to the 5.1 design, the highs weren’t as clear and there. It feels somewhat faded away as it gotten higher in the frequencies. When we connected the mic through USB, we noticed we had to speak a little louder then usually for it to pick up. Although it worked fine when connecting through its analog connectors. The software could be a little more user friendly as it was a pain to work. We manage to only raise the volume and set it to default sound output. Only after looking further we unlocked its full capabilities.

We found the cables to a little short on the headphones end. Although it isn’t a real con, Just something we thought could use improvement but fine the way it is.
In the end, It was a great pleasure to review this product. A strictly gamers end product, it had every aspect of one.
The street valued for this headset is reported to $129.99 USD. This won't break your wallet. A great value from a headset that brings this to much to the table.
