As EA has released its new game manager Origin and its new main title Battle Field 3. I have had a lot of friends reluctant to buy the game out of fear of EA's banning processes, or the reliability of Origin in general.
So Today I set out to clear up some of the confusion.
Q: If I get banned from an EA game, does my entire account get banned or just that game?
A: EA bans one game, if you would like to get unbanned then talk to customer service and they would look into it and try their best to get you un-banned. ~ John (EA CSR)
Also on a side note I have noticed that in Origin you can choose where you want to have a game installed. Very nice if your like me and your running SSDs where you need to balance what games go where for speed vs disk-space.
I also noticed that with in Origin it self there is a live chat option, when I used it this morning I waited less than 7min and the CSR (John) was very quick to respond to all my questions.
Props to you John!
Though I doubt even this news will chip away at most of your reluctant to hop on the Origin wagon, I wold like to remind all of you... Remember how MUCH we ALL hated Steam when it first came out? I was so pissed I almost did not buy HL2.
