Really good review and I loved the screenshots. As far is install time from the disc, it only took me less than 20 minutes. Not sure what would cause it to vary so much.

Biased review. GTFOI agree, There needs to be a working VOIP with a push to talk. I hate having to hear the game again through someone elses headset, Only alternative right now it seem is to use TS/Vent/Mumble for V-Comms, I didn't like how the campaign worked out. It wasn't good. Feels like a COD, thrown in middle of the action and have a sloppy ending. Mafia II I think had the best campaign/SP of all time. It played with your emotions, gave you a bit of history so you know whats going in, and had a good ending. Yeah Battlefield is still new to SP side, No excuses tho.

Nice review, but there are a few little mistakes

Conquest Large: This is a well known game mode for Battlefield. I believe this is the only game mode that supports 64 players. There are two teams and the goal is to capture and hold marked points. The maps are huge and there are several of these territories you must hold. Each team also has tickets - one is lost for every respawn but one is gained for every revive (this applies to most if not all other game modes). If one team holds over half of the territories, then the other team starts "bleeding" tickets. The game ends when one team falls down to zero tickets.

Conquest: It's the same as above, but with a smaller player count and maybe cut down maps too.
Conquest large = big maps with all the flags. Not the only mode that supports 64 players, also normal Conquest, Rush and Team Deathmatch can be played with 64 players.
Conquest = same maps as in Conquest Large but with a couple of flags removed, so the maps are not as big.
And you forgot to mention Squad Rush :P

      and
Co-op is not very expansive. You play with only one other person, but you also have a team of AI and you face enemy AI. There are two playable missions right now - in the first you have to hold off enemy forces at various positions.
There are 6 co-op missions. You unlock the third mission after completing the first 2.

Nice and 'wide' review anyway, me gusta

that's odd, no mention of the * 'Suppression' effect ? that's actually one of the features mentioned most often by my clan members while playing Multiplayer. everyone seem's to like it a lot. i mean really, what real soldier would be so calm as to maintain perfect effectivness w/ concrete being chipped away in his face by enemy bullets?

*New feature called Suppression - all the bullets you fire at an enemy affect them regardless if you hit them or not. All the bullets you fire that get close enough will start to reduce their combat efficiency. Squad can then flank the enemy and you will receive a Suppression score.

Yes Jester, please raise the score to a 98 because you forgot to mention the suppression effect, that is what makes or breaks the game.

Anyways nice review. Good to see you didn't give it a 98 just because it's a modern warfare FPS game.
Though I did expect you to give it something a bit high, around 80 seems fair for this game.

Yeah I forgot the suppression effect because honestly it doesn't seem to happen very often. It's not bad, although I prefer RO2's suppression effects which are far more intense and they occur more often. It's there now. Also, rght on Hypeer, thanks for pointing that out.
