  • Intel Ivy Bridge Specs Revealed

Several sources have revealed the full lineup and specifications of Intel's upcoming Ivy Bridge CPUs. These CPUs will utilize the LGA 1155 socket on desktop models, however they will be built on the new 22nm fabrication process, which can lower heat and power consumption by nearly 50% clock for clock compared to Sandy Bridge!

    Details

Eighteen processors were revealed, starting from the Core i5 3330S all the way up to the Core i7 3770k. Several suffixes are present; S meaning low power, T meaning Ultra low power, M meaning mobile, and K processors are the ones with unlocked multipliers for higher overclocking.

    As you can see these CPUs have a TDP as low as 35W for the Core i5 3470T, 45W for the Core i5 3570T and Core i7 3770T, 65W for the Core i5 3330S, 3450S, 3470S, 3475S, 3550S, 3570S, and Core i7 3770S. The highest TDP is only 77W for the Core i5 3330, 3450, 3470, 3550, 3570, 3570k, Core i7 3770, and i7 3770k.

All of these CPUs also feature an on-die graphics solution (Intel HD Graphics 2500 or 4000) with a 650 MHz core clock (which is actually slower than previous Intel CPUs) and a memory clock ranging from 1050 MHz to 1150 MHz. L3 cache varies from 3MB on the 3470T to 6MB on all the other i5 processors, and 8MB for the Core i7 processors. Stock clock speeds aren't much difference hence the lower TDP.

These CPUs are expected to become available in April 2012. Keep in touch for more updates!
