  • Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review [PC]

    mw3logotest

It's a bit late but here's our Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review!

Modern Warfare 3 takes place basically right after the ending of MW2 with Soap still injured. There are 2 new forgettable characters introduced which you play as most of the game, there's also a recurring character from Call of Duty 4 that returns as a Playable Character. The story continues with Makarov on the run from Price and Soap. Russia's invasion is still just as strong as ever, somehow.

Let's start out with the Single Player Campaign...

Great, honest review about the game. I loved the MP and Gameplay sections especially.

      Objectives sound difficult.

Nice write up though. It's refreshing to read an honest review every now and then rather than one that feels completely swayed or biased.

Nice review, all to the point, no over hyping, all written seams that way from what I've experienced from the game so far .

If you thought the objectives sound challenging, just wait until you play it on the hardest difficulty. Then you have to open BOTH doors.

Yeah I would not be a good person to review that game, I have a hard time with it. Though I do think they did a VERY good job on the look of the guns. Everything else is......... sigh...

Also I am still beyond pissed that they changed the COD game. From a WW2 based off of REAL EVENTS, Large scale shooter that did as best as it could to make a realistic game (limited due to the tech of its day). To the most Arcade shooter on the same level with Bulletstorm, well maybe not that bad, but close.

Not to mention that now they don't even bother to make a new game. They just re-skin a 2 year old game that was build off of old tech when it was new. Than shoved it down our throats as a NEW game with a $60 price tag.... All of this after the undisputed FAIL of Black OPS.

Usually when a Company Pushed out a product that bad (Windows VIsta) They at least try on the next launch (Windows 7) to say sorry.

But nope instead we get the biggest kick in the nuts to date.........

I mostly agree. The old Call of Duty games (2 and the older ones) had good campaigns and were more realistic. They could have been more realistic though, at least Call of Duty 2 since it wasn't released much earlier than Red Orchestra Ostfront 41-45 (not to mention the older mods it was based on). They didn't do a really good job with the guns in MW3 unfortunately, I've held most of the sidearms and some civilian versions of the rifles (and 1:1 replicas of most of the others), and they're not nearly as authentic as games like ArmA II or even Battlefield 3. So where does the effort go?

Why do people keep buying COD's if they know they will be the same as the previous ones and know that they will be disappointing?
Cod4 is the only Cod I have bought.
        Spoiler:
      BF master race

I actually brought MW3. I find the multiplayer pretty fun to jump in and tear up kids.

Much easier to relax than BF3

Good question. CoD 4 was the last CoD I bought as well.

      Lol love the picture.

Notice that none of the TRUE COD games are on that list.

Modern Warfare IS NOT CALL OF DUTY! And should have came out without the COD name attached, THAT WAY COD could have still produced REAL games bases on REAL events with a more REAL game-play and REAL graphics.

there will be 20 DLC packs (twenty!) for Modern Warfare 3 in the next 9 months. That’s more than one DLC every second week.
"Want to play with your friend? You’ll need map pack #12. Want to play with another friend? You’ll need map pack #17 for that."

Oh, you didn't hear? For a dollar you can get an "extra life" which immediately brings your health back up to full if your health drops to zero. There's also no limit on using them!
